"Thought I would leave a review, I have been staying in the hotel next door, for over a year now because of work. I have eaten in this restaurant for the same time, I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal here, the staff are friendly and helpful, it’s also nice to see the chief pop out of the kitchen once in a while to meet and great, and ask about the meal, it gives the personal touch. So thanks for that Lee. The personal touch is welcomed. The bar staff Amelia, Cindy, Charlotte, Jackie, Natalie, Sule, Josh, Gracey, Ryan, Dave and Jen always very helpful, and Karen in the mornings is a star."

"Just returned from a very good steak meal at Lydiard Beefeater. The food was very good quality, piping hot and quick service. Dave B. Took our order . He was very polite chatted and when meal came returned to see if all was ok. He also came back to check for drinks. Some of us had refills. A very kind confident young lad. He was a great member of your staff."

"Visited today for lunch, our main reason was we spotted the festive menu in an email sent to us. It looked so good so had to try it out. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely man who I think was in management and he was very friendly and we shared a joke with him, he offered my son colouring in which made him very happy. Our waitress Summer was in training. She was so good, very welcoming and jolly, keen to learn and nothing was too much trouble. She’s a real asset. Our food was delicious, we were so impressed we had dessert and that didn’t disappoint either. The bill was very reasonable too. All in all a very good experience and the whole family went home happy & full. Nice big car park (don’t forget to register your vehicle on arrival) Clean toilets, disabled friendly. We highly recommend this place and we will be visiting again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"Decided to stop here as a last minute lunch idea. Glad I did. Was greeted nicely. Shown to table. Place was quite quiet, restaurant was clean and tidy. There was only two ladies serving, they were rushed off their feet. But they were absolutely fantastic, serving and always polite and smiling, where I would not me so happy. Food was really nice. I had fish n chips and it was beautiful. Wife had Sunday lunch and she said it was good too. Drinks were nice and cold in nice clean glasses. Even the loo's were clean and smelt fresh! We left full and happy. Massive thank you to the waitress'"

"Stopped here for breakfast, and it was great. All food was nicely cooked, though could have been a bit hotter- always a problem when it is self service. Just one hot drinks machine, which could be a problem during busy periods. Those wanting tea have to dispense the hot water from a flask. Not ideal. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Particular thanks to Karen, who looked after us well."

"Went for a birthday meal and had a lovely time. We went at a lunch time in January and it was very quiet only two other tables. Staff were very friendly. We both had a mixed grill and was delicious, great value as part of the rewards we had the one meal for free. Can’t wait for our next visit"

"We arrived without a booking which was our own fault. A member of staff promptly greeted us and informed due to two large groups due to arrive we may be waiting an hour. We asked if we could eat in the bar area, again the wait was an hour. Though when he said I’ll leave you with the menu and we said it’s fine we know exactly what we want he said fine I’ll take your order and please sit in the bar. Our drinks were promptly brought to our tables We waited 20 minutes for our food and were very happy with our steak selection. So all I can say is excellent customer service from that member of staff."
